Hasbury lies to the west of Halesowen town centre and was developed extensively by the Mucklow’s Group during the 1960’s and 1970’s. It is predominated by what is now locally as the ‘Mucklow’s Semi’; a particular design of spacious semi-detached houses with well proportioned rooms and good sized gardens. This design is without doubt one of the very best sellers in Halesowen.
The popular schools of St Margartes Primary and Windsor High School serve the area, both rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
Huntingtree Park provides leisure facilities and alongside playing host to weekend football for local teams also has a children’s play area and is one of Dudley’s four Healthy hubs, which aim to provide the community with outdoor venues where people of all ages and abilities can come along to get active and have fun in a safe, pleasant outdoor environment.
There is a small shopping parade on Thornhill Road which includes a butcher, pharmacy, newsagents, hairdressers and a great coffee shop/bakers frequented by our Lex Allan Grove staff
