What does the new lockdown mean if you’re moving home?
If you’re in the process of moving home, or planning to put your house on the market, you may be thinking that the new lockdown will affect those plans. However, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has announced that 'THE HOUSING MARKET IS TO REMAIN OPEN'.
Lex Allan and Lex Allan Grove Estate Agents in Stourbridge, Halesowen and Hagley will therefore be staying OPEN.
Here’s a few things you need to know:
Yes, viewings can still go ahead. Since the easing of the first lockdown, we have been operating safely to ensure the safety of sellers, buyers and our staff.
Only 2 households will be at a viewing at any one time.
Facetime or Zoom viewings can also be arranged.
Virtual viewings will be provided on our ‘on-line‘ presence wherever possible.
Virtual valuations can be offered if the vendors so prefer.
We will continue to take every precaution to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the sale of a home, but if you have any concerns about your current situation, please do not hesitate to contact us on the following telephone numbers:
Stourbridge - 01384 442464
Halesowen - 0121 550 5400
Hagley - 01562 270270
To keep your plans on track and for the economy, it’s vitally important we keep the housing market moving!
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
