Re-opening our offices under Lockdown

You may well have heard that the restrictions imposed upon our industry have been predominantly lifted and we are now able to arrange viewings and sale related appointments on the properties we are marketing.

Critically any appointments must be conducted in accordance with safety guidelines to ensure the health and well being of our clients and staff.

As a company we will start arranging viewings which we will accompany where the property is vacant, but will be seeking your express approval to arrange viewings for you to accompany if you are in residence. A maximum of two people (from the same household) will be allowed to enter the home - children should not be taken to viewings. Viewers will be instructed not to touch any surface or handle; and post viewing (where we have accompanied in a vacant property) we will sanitise door handles we have touched.

Please note: We cannot arrange viewings that you would accompany without your EXPRESS CONSENT - Please provide such consent in writing via email or hard copy at your earliest convenience.

The Government has stated that they would like Estate Agents to encourage vendors to consider the preparation of video/virtual tours which should be offered to interested parties prior to physical viewings taking place, in the hope that the number of face-to-face encounters can be minimised as only ‘’serious‘’ parties will ultimately make a physical viewing.

We have sent you an email previously regarding the virtual tour offerings that we have available as a group of companies and have recently posted a ‘A Guide to Video Viewings of Your Home’ which has been very well received on our social media.

We are effectively re-open for business, but with some significant restrictions. Our offices will be manned, but will not be open to visitors unless by prior appointment so that we can manage the number of clients in the office at any one time.

Anyone we deal with will be asked to confirm they are showing no signs of Covid 19 and we will ascertain if there are members of their households who are categorised as ‘vulnerable’.
